This was the standard AA vehicle assigned to Soviet divisions during the heart of the Cold War, finally being eclipsed by the very effective ZSU 23-4 and the SA-6 SAM combination. This weapon system is still found in former Soviet client states throughout the world (and probably still in Russian reserve units). A thinly armored twin gun turret mounted on a modified T-54 chassis makes up this weapon system.

The kit is again beautifully cast by the Polish company Jadar-Models. Unlike most of their recent resin castings, this kit includes five large photoetch frets done my the "Part" photoetch company. Also included are two turned aluminum barrels. All the other parts are resin.

For all the stuff in this box (very well packed by the way) there does not seem to be enough to the instructions. They consist of two pages devoted to a short history and four view drawing of the vehicle, two very large (11.5 x 17 inch) exploded drawings of the kit parts and two standard 8x10 inch pages with more exploded drawings of the kit. Given the large number of parts and difficult instructions, this kit is best attempted by experienced builders only.
